One of the most significant law-rating agencies, the Legal 500 has published new annual guide The Legal 500 EMEA 2015. Traditionally ALRUD Law Firm is highly recognized by this ranking. Vassily Rudomino and Kira Egorova spoke at the Russian Wealth Advisors Forum

Vassily Rudomino, ALRUD Senior Partner, and Kira Egorova, ALRUD Private Clients Practice Counsel, spoke at the Russian Wealth Advisors Forum.

The Forum, a traditional place, where leading experts in private wealth management of Russian clients annually meet, was held fr om January 31 to February 1, 2018 in Zurich, Switzerland. Every year, more than 150 representatives of top companies from over 20 countries come to participate in the forum.

Vassily Rudomino participated in the panel discussion “Wealthy Russians in 2017-2018: Changing Political Landscape and its Effect on Russian Elite”. Furthermore, during a separate session, ALRUD’s Senior Partner presented an overview of key changes in the Russian legislation, which are important for private clients.

Kira Egorova acted as an expert at the session “Good Structures for Russians: Pitfalls for the Unwary” on the issues of asset structuring in the modern paradigm, and gave a presentation “Russian Currency Control Explained”, wh ere she spoke about the specifics of and new laws on currency control of foreign accounts of Russian individuals.

In her report, presented jointly with Carré Trust AG, Kira highlighted key aspects of the tax-free liquidation procedure, and addressed the new forthcoming amnesty of capitals in Russia.
