Vera Glonina is an Attorney of the Intellectual Property and Data Protection & Cybersecurity Practice groups of ALRUD Law Firm. Vera focuses on TMT and Life Sciences industries.
Vera’s experience includes a wide range of projects related to IP enforcement (including litigation in courts and the Patent and Trademark Office. She participates in prosecutions (trademarks, patents, computer programs, databases, geographical indication), as well as transactional projects related to transferring and licensing of IP rights. Also, she has experience in consulting on advertising and marketing issues.
Vera is involved in projects related to data protection, cybersecurity issues and legal audits of companies, with respect to compliance with personal data laws, as well as projects on the formalization of the processing of personal data in companies and complex due diligence projects, involving IP and IT issues.
Vera joined the ALRUD team in 2019. Vera was awarded a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Law by Moscow State University. Currently, Vera is pursuing an LLM degree, focusing on IP&IT, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
Vera is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). Additionally, Vera is a head of the “Case Law Analysis” division in the educational organization IP CLUB.
