Sofia Derbeneva is an Associate in the Corporate / M&A Practice at ALRUD Law Firm.

Sofia’s experience includes support for Russian and foreign clients on corporate affairs, including corporate governance, IPOs, and due diligence in various industries: Mining, Telecommunications, Media and Technology, Pharmaceuticals, and Agriculture.

Sofia also specializes in supporting regulatory projects in such areas as the food industry, communications services, the use of subsoil resources, and technical regulation. She also has experience in consultations on export control, sanctions issues, and supporting trade investigations.

Sofia graduated with honors from the International Law Faculty of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
