Anastasia Petrova speaks at the AmCham Association HR-Conference

On April 23, the leading foreign business-association “American Chamber of Commerce in Russia” (AmCham Russia) held its annual HR-Conference. The event was open for the members of AmCham and PEBA, and also for persons outside of these associations.

The Conference comprised 3 main sessions:

1. Legal and Administrative issues;

2. Strategies and cooperation;

3. HR-technologies and innovations.

Anastasia Petrova, Of Counsel in ALRUD Labour and Employment Practice, took part in the third session, speaking on “Global and Russian Judicial Practice in AI Application in HR”. Anastasia addressed such topics as employment discrimination, regulation of AI in HR in EC and USA, told in details about HR decision-making, and ECHR criteria, and also reviewed several real-life litigation cases involving AI matters.

Moreover, Anastasia shared news on development of Artificial Intelligence industry at ALRUD. The firm is actively developing expertise in the sphere of AI legal regulation, advising the clients on the issues of introduction of technologies, data and intellectual property protection. ALRUD is involved in forming the legislation, collaborating with IT-companies, and testing AI-solutions to enhance the operating efficiency.
