In memory of Irina Anyukhina

On June 24, 2025, after a long illness, Irina Anyukhina, partner of ALRUD law firm, founder and long-time head of our Labor Practice, passed away. She was our colleague, mentor, and friend.

Irina joined ALRUD in 2002. She was deeply involved in the creation of the firm's labor practice — its team, approaches, and the philosophy by which it works with clients. In 2007, she became a partner. Under Irina's leadership, the practice grew into a key focus for ALRUD, gaining recognition at the national and international level.

Irina advised Russian and foreign companies on all types of labor law issues, handled complex domestic and cross-border investigations, helped resolve conflicts, protected clients' interests, and facilitated changes that had an impact on both business and people.

For both her colleagues and clients, Irina was a figure who instilled a sense of confidence. She had a talent to lead and make difficult decisions while remaining genuinely involved — in people, in processes, in the essence of what was happening. Irina was one of the leading experts in the field of labor law. Her professionalism has been repeatedly recognized in international and Russian legal ranking: Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East & Africa, Best Lawyers, Who's Who Legal, Pravo-300, and Kommersant.

Irina's passing is a great loss for the ALRUD team and for everyone who was fortunate enough to work alongside her.

Irina was and will always be an integral part of ALRUD. From the moment she arrived until her last day, she influenced the shape that the firm is taking in its approach, decisions, and ethos.
