Margarita Egiazarova spoke at a Coleman HR Industrial Club webinar covering judicial practice in labor law

On September 15, Margarita Egiazarova, Partner and Head of ALRUD Labour Law Practice, PhD in Law, spoke at a Coleman HR Industrial Club webinar dedicated to current issues of judicial practice in labour law.

In her presentation, G provided a detailed analysis of the key trends in employment dispute resolution: growing judicial discretion, increasingly strict requirements for employers, and a more lenient approach to employees.

Special attention was paid to the growing focus of courts on the personal and social circumstances of employees’ lives, the assessment of conflicts preceding dismissal, as well as the practice of reinstating deadlines for filing claims with the court and strengthening control over payments. Separately, the speaker highlighted the risks related to the itinerant nature of work and the procedural nuances of declaring an employee unfit for their position (Clause 3, Part 1, Article 81 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation).

In conclusion, Margarita provided a forecast on the future development of labour disputes development and offered employees preventive solutions to minimize legal risks.
