A workshop on “Legal risks in day-to-day company activity” was held on 23 April by the Institute for Modern Technology Development (IRSOT).The workshop included topical discussion sessions moderated by expert practitioners from leading law firms.
Irina Anyukhina, ALRUD Partner, moderated the discussion session “Employer initiated termination: legal risks” on labour law.
The discussion touched on the following issues:

The employee insists on admittance of his/her lawyer or advocate to the employer initiated termination procedure: what to do;
Current case law on challenging the employer initiated termination of labour agreements: lessons to be learned;
Lawyer and HR manager in termination procedure: cooperation scenarios allowing the employer to mitigate the risks.
