On March 19th, ALRUD Law Firm held a webinar 'Legal Consequences of Coronavirus: Practical Aspects'.

During the webinar, ALRUD experts commented on the most pressing and complex legal issues arising from the situation with coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) and the restrictive measures introduced in connection with it. In particular, they provided clarifications on possible issues of compliance with contractual obligations during the epidemic, the analysis of possible solutions, including consideration of circumstances of the coronavirus that would be treated as force majeure, and proposed other contractual mechanisms to protect parties to the contract and ways to minimize possible risks.

In addition, the experts presented detailed recommendations on anti-crisis measures in the sphere of management and optimization of human resources, reviewed migration restrictions, new duties of employers and possible liability for violations of measures imposed by the State. The webinar participants also addressed issues of health data protection and antitrust risks in the current situation. Furthermore, the speakers answered some of the most frequent questions that the listeners posed during the event.
