ALRUD law firm advised Vi Holding on the development of the territory of the former Tushino airport, an area of 65 hectares in Moscow.

The project on the development of the former Tushino airport territory is large scale and integrated; it envisages the creation of modern urban space in Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo area in the North-Western Administrative District of Moscow. Here a conceptually-new ÁLIA district will be located, with the developed business, social and sports infrastructure, landscaped public spaces and a park alongside the Moscow River embankment. The business park will be the business heart of the cross-functional, real estate development. Owing to the multifaceted approach, a comfortable environment for work, life and leisure will be formed.

ALRUD experts advised the client on different issues, including land issues and, among other things, represented the client’s interests in court relating to a dispute regarding agreements for the lease of land plots with the Federal Agency for State Property Management, issues on relations, arising from the government investment contract, financing and attraction of investors, and other aspects and problems, arising since the beginning of implementation of this comprehensive project.

ALRUD team, working on the project under the leadership and supervision of Partner Andrey Zharskiy (Partner and Head of Real Estate Practice and Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Industry Group) and Magomed Gasanov (Partner of Dispute Resolution, Restructuring and Insolvency Practices), comprised Senior Associate Stanislav Veselov, Junior Attorney Mikhail Semenov, Senior Associate Sergey Khanaev, Associate Denis Bekker and Junior Attorney Anna Ryzhikova.
