Before joining ALRUD, Elena was a counsel at the international law firm Linklaters, where she worked for over 20 years, and after Linklaters left the Russian market, she became a counsel at the law firm Neonika Legal.

She has extensive experience advising on financial and corporate transactions under Russian and English law, including transaction structuring, financial regulation, obtaining regulatory approvals, forming complex structures with SFOs for the issuance of structured bonds and the implementation of financial and investment projects, concluding share purchase agreements, corporate and quasi-corporate agreements, options, share issues, other securities and structured instruments, escrow agreements, shareholder financing and other similar agreements. Elena also advises Russian and international clients on various matters of antitrust regulation and strategic investment legislation, and in recent years, on counter-sanctions legislation.

She graduated with honors from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University and the Linguistics Faculty of Moscow State Linguistic University.

Elena is an advocate of the Moscow Region Bar and is also admitted to practice in England and Wales as a solicitor. She is a member of the Association of Antitrust Experts.
